Plastex Applicator Bottle and Powder Dish

1. Use pipette to transfer liquid from large
bottle to applicator bottle
|
2. Use powder bottle to fill powder dish
as needed
|
Molding Bar
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
1. Put the molding bar into hot water or
a non-stick frying pan (you may wrap the bar in foil and place
it on a hot plate)
|
2. After the bar becomes soft, which also
means hot, pick it out of the hot water and carefully wipe
the water off.
|
3. Form the material into a similar shape
to the area to be repaired or reproduced.
|
4. Form the material around the tab or another
part of the same shape as the one to be repaired.
|
Basic Application - Needle Method
|

|
|
|
|
|
1. Slightly squeeze the applicator and place
one or two drops of Plastex liquid onto the Plastex powder.
|
2. Quickly pick up the sphere with needle
and position it above the repair area.
|
3. Slightly squeeze the applicator again
to drop the sphere onto the repair area.
|
|
Replacing Missing Tabs
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
1.Press hot molding bar over identical tab
to form a mould.
|
2. Place mold under missing tab and fill
with Plastex.
|
3. Remove mold material after Plastex is
completely hardened.
|
|
Repairing Cracks
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
1. Grind V-groove along crack.
|
2. Fill the V-groove with Plastex by using
the needle method.
|
3. Fill V-groove and allow to cure.
|
